Everybody complains for not having time

Everybody complains for not having time

Nobody has time today

Don’t have Time!
We all are quite busy these days because of our daily routine or life style. We all complain about not having time to do the tasks of daily life. We have lots of things to do in a day long but not able to do all the things. Sometimes we are tired and just want to relax. Sometimes we forget the things due to lots of pressure. Sometimes we just procrastinate. Sometimes we make excuses just like that.

“Time is what we want most, but what we use worst.” ~ William Penn

Why we complain for not having time?
We all perform various tasks in our daily life. We also have some free time in a day long. But different people use this time in different ways:
– Some people enjoy at home
– Some go to movie with friends
– Some people spend time with family
– Some prefer to sleep
– Some utilize it for their skills enhancement
– Some people just sit back and do nothing
– And exceptional cases are in the habit of making excuses.

Are you really short of time?
We all have 24 hours a day. We all have different tasks to perform in this time frame. Some people are always short of time and reach their destination always late. We all know there are people who complete their tasks on/by time. Some people never make excuses about short time. Do they have extra hours in a day? No, they are not magicians or something. They just manage their time accordingly.

“Time stays long enough for those who use it.” ~ Leonardo Da Vinci

If you are doing a job, have you ever refused to do the tasks your boss has given to you? And if you are doing your own business, have you ever refused to your client. No, we don’t refuse our bosses or clients. This is our duty and we earn money by accomplishing it. So, we find enough time to do the tasks given by our boss or client.

It’s all about priorities
We all have our own priorities in daily life. We choose to do few important things and sacrifice others. We prefer to do things that we really want to do. We always have enough time for the things of our interest. So, we only make excuses for the things that are not in our priority list because we don’t want to do it at all.

“Action expresses priorities.” ~ Mahatma Gandhi

Remember! when someone calls and asks you to do any particular thing and you say – “Right now I am busy” or “I will do it later for sure” or “I will do it in 10 minutes/ next hour/ tomorrow”. We use these statements because we don’t want to do it. And we make excuses because we don’t want to hurt someone by telling them the truth. But we are not aware that our friends and family members know us very well. They know we are making excuses and will not do it. But they understand we have our own priority system. There is nothing to be worried of until we make it a habit.

How to make it?
Nobody, can do all the tasks in a day. We have to prioritize the tasks in our daily life. We can categorize all tasks into two  parts – Important Tasks and Urgent Tasks. Here, we need to focus on important tasks first rather than urgent ones. These important tasks have real impact on our life. If we accomplish these tasks on daily basis, we will surely achieve our goals and fulfill our dreams.

We can also let our dear ones know our priority rather than making excuses. Even they have their own priorities like everyone else. Better we understand each other and live life without thinking too much of it. Let everybody make schedule accordingly. Make plans keeping each other’s preferences in mind and make it clear to all. Then it will be more enjoyable and wonderful life.

“Stop acting as if life is a rehearsal. Live this day as if it were your last. The past is over and gone. The future is not guaranteed.” ~ Wayne Dyer
